Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Atlas ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Elegsys, a company registered in Pakistan. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years of age or have legal capacity in your jurisdiction.

2. Description of Service

Atlas is an AI-native accounting platform designed for multi-tenant practices. The Service provides automated bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, journal entries, tax compliance, and financial reporting powered by agentic AI.

Atlas operates on a hybrid pricing model:

• Platform Subscription: A flat monthly base fee granting unlimited users access to the platform.
• Task Tokens: Usage-based credits that power AI agent operations such as auto-reconciling bank transactions, generating journal entries, and producing compliance certificates. You pay for output, not access.

Beta Notice:Atlas is currently in beta. Features, pricing, and availability may change. During the beta period, certain features are provided "as is" without warranty.

3. Accounts and Access

To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

Atlas is a multi-tenant platform. Each organization's data is isolated using database-level Row-Level Security (RLS), ensuring no cross-tenant data access.

4. Billing and Payments

All payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment processing, tax collection, invoicing, and currency conversion on our behalf. By purchasing a subscription or task tokens, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Service.

Platform subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. Purchased task tokens do not expire while your account remains active.

5. Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund window for subscriptions and unused task tokens. For full details, please see our Refund Policy.

All refunds are processed by Paddle.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to access data belonging to other tenants or organizations
• Abuse, overload, or interfere with AI agent operations
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

7. Intellectual Property

The Atlas platform, including its software, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Elegsys. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes.

You retain full ownership of your accounting data, financial records, and any content you upload to the Service.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

9. Service Availability and Beta Disclaimer

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, especially during the beta period. No service level agreements (SLAs) are in effect during beta.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

Atlas is an accounting tool and does not constitute professional accounting, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all outputs, including AI-generated entries and compliance documents.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elegsys's total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, you will have 30 days to export your data. After this period, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Unused task tokens are non-refundable after termination unless within the refund window.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through the courts of Pakistan.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
